Why should you test?
Through testing, we gain a better understanding of how the key systems in your body are functioning during training and competition. With this data, we identify limiting factors, areas for improvement, and optimal strategies for success. Our professionals use state-of-the-art equipment and protocols to ensure we understand YOUR body to help guide your sports performance journey.
Physiological Testing
VO₂ Max testing is a powerful resource for athletes seeking peak performance, as well as for individuals focused on long-term health and longevity. By accurately assessing cardiovascular capacity and metabolic efficiency, VO₂ Max delivers practical information that can be used to tailor training plans, track progress over time, and support overall health. The FAST Lab offers various physiology testing packages that analyze key sports performance indicators. With this data, we understand how to help you train and perform to your max potential. Functional Performance Assessment
In this full-body sports performance test, we’ll assess structural positioning, muscle & fascial mobility/flexibility, joint stability, and muscle activation patterning to identify structural asymmetries, muscle imbalances, and compensatory movement patterns.
An FPA is always paired with either a video analysis (running/sprinting/movement) or electromyography (EMG) to capture your full-body blueprint. Consider this your starting point. With the data we capture, we’ll create a plan that includes both performance training and injury prevention to help you achieve all your goals.
Nutrition Analysis
Nutrition is a key factor in sports performance because it directly affects an athlete’s energy levels, endurance, recovery, and overall physical health. Proper nutrition fuels the body during training and competition. However, every athlete’s body responds differently to various foods and nutrient ratios, which is why testing and analyzing your nutrition is crucial. By understanding how your body processes and utilizes nutrients, you can make informed adjustments to optimize performance. The FAST Lab offers a comprehensive nutrition and health analysis, plus signature plans to help you achieve your health and fitness goals.
